I figured I should warn you about Nforce2 chipsets. You did not mention which OS your using & what you use a computor for, so I assume from your request your running something old like win 95. To use all the features built into the modern MoBo's & Nforce 2 chipset MoBo's you would need to switch to win 98 second edition to get USB 1 & 2 working. This is only a temperarly fix as win 98 SE support will be dropped by Microsoft & Nforce chipsets also in the near future. Ya I had win 98 & I had to upgrade to 98 SE to get my USB 1.1 going (I still use DOS)& I bit the bullet & got XP Home edition MS's OS for my games.
I am not sure how long you keep this new system working (long I am sure) but 64 bit CPUs are the rage with MS OS's soon to follow. Now there is a new semprom CPU just out follow the link I added below, in fact the link is not to far down from your post. It has much of the latest stuff added like intels SSE3. You would have to dump your current MoBo pick & find new one. But this can carry you far into the future.
Another warning the new MoBo's & CPU's even Nforce 2 & semprom's eat power like crazy. A decent Power Supply Unit with a high watt output is very important, the semprom's do have less cache but still need lots of power.
With memory now its different, every newer OS needs more memory then the last version. Like win 98 needs 256 - 512 MB's to run good to great & XP likes 512 - 1024 MB's for the same. Also Hard Drive swap file is what you pay attention to now a days. HD space around 2 times the ram.
