Ahh, so the problem was really with Winblows.

I've always run Ghost from DOS and don't even have it installed on Windows or a hard drive for that matter. I boot and run from a CD usually and sometimes from floppy. Backing up a hard drive on the next boot is as easy as hitting the space bar when the screen asks if I want to boot from CD and backing up to another partition or physical HD has always been a piece of cake and now with DOS USB support, ghosting to and from a USB HD is a breeze.
