I haven't run into any limitations, but you may be speaking of a Windows version and all I'm using is the 1001KB DOS executable. The only difference I notice on start up is that it says something about the HD not being marked as linked to this version, and asks if you want to mark it. I click no and the app goes on to look and perform as 2002 with the exception of having the DVD option in the drop down menu and it no longer has that irritating request for a serial when restoring like 02 did. Also, you can't restore an image with 03 that was created with 02.
When I get the time I plan on making a boot image that automates those first "don't mark HD" mouse clicks, but other than that I see no limitations other than the need to create new backup images that are compatible with the new version.
