2002 only asks for the serial when restoring an image, not during the creation.

I got the version info from a text file ghost creates when entering "ghost -dd" or "ghost -di" from a DOS prompt.

-dd Dumps disk metrics information

-di For each disk on the computer, the physical attributes and diagnostics may be redirected to a text file.

Example:
ghost -di > test.txt

If it encounters an error it generates a text file called GHOSTERR.TXT.

Version info is at the top of the text files.
