"command line version of copy & restore"

I've always been able to create or restore an image from a "true" DOS command line using ghost.exe or ghostpe.exe.

Here's a command line from my boot image:

ghost.exe -clone,mode=pload,src=%dr%:\backups\csave_0%img%.gho:1,dst=1:1 -auto -fatlimit -fx -nofile

"-dd just gives you info"

I thought you wanted the version #?

If you have a ghost.env then your license has been married to the executable.

I just checked again, when making an image of a partition it only asks for the license on restore, but when cloning an entire drive it will ask up front.
