Ouch! That kind of heatsink clog is no good, although it is the unfortunate fate of all computers that are used long enough without periodic cleaning.
First up: make sure you actually reseated all of the heatsinks correctly. One of those even slightly off-center might not seat correctly, yielding instant overheat and no POST.
Second, make sure you didn't accidentally knock some cable loose in or around the area of the devices you fiddled with, and verify that the memory module is actually seated correctly.
