HTPC died the other day.
On reboot Cant seem to get the Rear USB ports (x4) to work properly.
I have a TV IR remote plugged into one and an RF Wirelss into the other.
Befor the shutdown the items worked fine.
Now - nothing.

To check I tried to install my Partners DigiCam software for her camera and it wouldnt recognise the USB install option.

When I unplug and plug the items in and out - XPsp blleps as it always does to recognise the hardware change.
The RF keyboard unit has a recieve module with caps lock and numlock and shift lock LED's - they work fine when the PS2 keyboard is typed on - but the keyboard seems dead.

The IR TV Remote doesnt register anything but it bleeps as well on unplug and plug.

I did find a problem with the USB Universal device driver and reinstalled that driver through control>system>device etc... no joy though - still the same.

Is it possible the mobo could have lost some functionality of the USB port - like it can send the signals to the OS to bleep and send signal to the RF header of the Keyboard to light up the LED's but wont accept any feedback ....?

Dont really want to buy another mobo - been through 3 in 6 months!
TIA
