This setup you have made is import to you like your going to watch all your TV or & DVD's or what ever thru it. If you have trouble down the road like your front USB ports breaking then you will have to start all over from scrach again. New OS & MoBo drivers & ironing out all the bugs. The only reason I would sell the spare MoBo is if I was going to expand some time in the future & needed more power.
Now that cheap PSU you are lucky if you even get 300 watts from it. I remember its hot where you are at & theres a little know heat factor with the PSU ratings. They are over rated around 33% to room temp & gets worst if your temp climbs higher.
Now the PSU burning the USB out I think is highly unlikley as it would hurt more power hungry devices first.
