I.Cmos battery?
2.Bad connection somewhere.Shorts cause the Cmos to reset to default.
3. reseat the cards,etc[done that?]clean terminals
4.F****d chipset on board.
I have an old Jetboard that i run a K6-300 on.It refuses toacknowledge that the PCI bridge drivers are there;or reload them:But all works fine anyway!!##
