Just ordered two new Logitech Optical Mice that work either as USB or PS/2. My USB I feel hyper clicks on this machine with XP and a PS/2 doesn't soooo. Well I removed the USB mouse in XP. Changed to the PS/2 hook up...and NADA...no little red light, no Moose in XP. Duh?
I rechecked, etc. SO I went to Sonny's machine. Changed to the Optical with the PS/2 adapter and wala..works fine. Moose lights up, have mouse in XP. Both mice work on his machine and both adapters work on his.
Back to this machine. I stick on a regular Mouseman PS/2, works fine in XP. So I shut back down, reattach the Optical..nada no lights. So I thought WTH I'll connect as USB..well NADA no lights. WTH is with this thing? Any brilliant ideas?
