I just took an optical USB I feel mouse off this thing. It had been working fine except for the Hyperclick. All I did was buy another PS/2-USB, Logitech Mouse. And the USB I feel optical worked on Sonny's too. SO it really makes no sense at all. But this machine definitely has a mouse problem. The regular PS/2 just locked up in a game. But I think there is a BIOS issue concerning using a PS/2 mouse after a USB mouse has been on the machine. Have to go reread that blurb again at Epox. XP itself has some kind of problem with USB. Been fighting it on the other machine but may have some of it fixed. Just USB in general...printer on that one is USB like on mine. Mine works fine, his locks up. So did the USB mouse on his and occassionally the USB ZIO Smart media Downloader and then XP wouldn't shut down right. Think I may have that fixed for the moment. Some of his USB ports were on the monitor and he turns off the monitor when he's done surfing. Think it confused XP shutting it on and off because I think it killed the USB connection when the monitor was powered off.
I have fought this machine for months with many odd problems. Quite frankly it gives me a migraine.
