Go back to Release 14. =D
Trust me. Your clients, co-workers, etc. are still using 14, and the files aren't portable. Stick with 14. Plus, a GeForce2 MX 32mb RAM is for g4m3rZ!! CAD doesn't need the raw fill-rate; for CAD you want a vid card with a superior Z-buffer. And don't install NEDs just because they worked on someone else's machine -I learned this the hard way. If you're doing exclusive 3D design, try the sister app -3DS MAX. But I suppose that's only for gaming, eh? For files over 10 megs, can't you get them smaller by using Xrefs and stuff? I mean, it's not like you're skinning those bad boys... ARE you skinning the wire frame?!?? hehehe
