try running with one DIMM for starters, sometimes that solves the problem - at least until you can get into the BIOS.

I had a similar situation a few weeks ago, in that case it was a bad IDE cable that caused the POST failure, in other words, make sure that you have really everything disconnected from the board, including all front panel connectors and add-on cables.

Last not least, to be on the safe side, make sure that there is no stand-off on the case's backplane that shorts something, maybe try running the board on a piece of cardboard first.
