Which ever was C drive when you origonally setup your Os,s will have all that info[which drive ,which OS] stamped on the MBR [masterboot record]Swapping the drives round will confuse both the MBR and the WINDERS installations.Setting the Bios as you have, helps it sort that out.Change your configuration though and Winders will want to find "new devices" etc.I run a dual boot on more than one machine and have set them up on the same drive or seperate one s;no problems. the one thing is ;which order you load them.I use M.E. and W2000 on this machine.did have it triple booting to linux,but i thought i might move that to another machine so I don,t complicate things Too much.I usually run 2000 off my C drive and "others" off a D drive[same disk or other]
Change the configuration of the computer and it needs a fresh OS load,to me;they never quite seem to work as well after a hardware change or two.
