It sounds like FW is causing the problem with NTFS as its the only reason I can think of that would cause the floppy to hang.

Try this:

REM out these 2 lines at the end of Autoexec.bat.

REM KPUSH /F 79
REM FWIZARD.EXE %RD%

That should let you finish the boot and I should have added the option to start FW anyway. Next version

After the boot type readntfs and see what ya get.

PS. If you're saying the USB scan hangs with NF2 only when the OS is installed on an NTFS partition you have me stumped ATM cause the hard drive should have nothing to do with it at that point.
