Heh, funny side note. In my current system I have a 40gb Maxtor drive that I got from Staples. It had like a $20 mail in rebate too. I spent the extra 10 bucks for one of those 1 year staples extended warranties that they always offer for everything electronic. Lo and Behold 10 months later Windows XP registry keeps corrupting itself even after fresh formats. So I took it back and they gave me a brand new one, PLUS at that time, that particular drive had a $40 mail in rebate. When they replaced it, they gave me store credit basically for the returned drive and then so the new receipt for the new drive looked like a normal purchase so that I could mail in for the rebate too =)
