I'm helping a friend build a PC of her own for the first time, and we've run into a snag. The HDD is not being nice to us. For one thing the only way we can get it to detect correctly is by using using the cable select setting. Now the other problem is that the PC is not seeing the drive correctly. The drive is a new Western Digital 80gig drive. We're using two different PCs, and the newer one is seeing the drive as about 10 gigs. The other computer (an old Gateway PII@350) is seeing it as roughly a 64 gig drive. I'm fairly sure that the old computer is limited by the BIOS though. Any reason that you guys can think of why it would be doing this?

TIA
-Ben
