The BIOS of the new computer sees the drive as 80 gigs (but with the wrong cylinder info, says it has many more cylinders than it should) but when FDISK is run the problme occurs. The odd part is that after FDISKing it to about 10 gigs and running a DoS format the whole drive is formatted (ie all 80 gigs) but only the first 10 gigs are accessible. Any thoughts? Could it be that we need an updated FDISK? The OS she is using is Winders 98 Original (non SE).
