This one has been mentioned here a lot. Dab some thermal compound on the core, lay a thin bead of superglue around the outside of the CPU package, and gently press the H/S fan onto the CPU. It's probably best to leave it for 24 hours or so with the tower on its side to allow the fan to firmly attach. No fan swapping afterwards though. Good luck. |
