uh, you may have to wait up to five minutes with the Superglue, not 24 hours. That is one of the reason it is called superglue.
I use the gel version and put a small dab in each corner (leave thermal paste off these very minute areas, duh), that way if removal is needed a quick twist and you are good to go.
The thin bead all the way around will work to, I just don't know how hard it would be to remove with that amount of glue, never used that much.
