You can control your fan speed under Linux. Take a look at /proc/sys/dev/sensors/xxxx . At least the W8327hf I have on my motherboard has a number of device entries called "pwm" for the pulse-width modulation of the fan speed. Just 'cat' a value into it and your fan will run slower. |
