It started showing the combined rate after I set the # of crunchers to 2 instead of letting it autodetect. But the combined total is still only 2.6, which is barely more than my single P3-933 is churning.

The problem is, this is my web/game server, and I can only get to it through Windows Terminal Services (it's locked in the server room at work). This has always been enough for remote administration, but unfortunately doesn't allow access to the BIOS. I'm pretty sure I have the mem timings set as aggressively as I can and still have a stable server. Perhaps the problem lies in the crummy Via Apollo chipset (Tyan Tiger 133).

I'm going to pull it offline for a day or so and see if the BIOS is set correctly. If it is, then I'm going to reinstall Win2K fresh. The current installation was originally a Uniprocessor HAL that I migrated to a Multiprocessor HAL. I can't run Sandra or WPCREdit without getting an error, so there seems to be some kind of problem with the installation. Reinstalling server OS's is such a pain in the ass though

Do you know if the MPS Multiprocessor HAL is any better than the ACPI Multiprocessor HAL? I though ACPI was newer, so I went with it.
