It sound like your browser might possibly be checking the pages for audio components which will occasionally override your settings. Turn off audio and video playback in internet options/advanced, and see if it works. Never had winamp jump tracks BTW, but the volume would change all the time. I'd also get static in playback. On an SB Live 5.1 now, and all is good. Too bad that's not an option, eh?
