got a notebook everything preinstalled and so everything works. at least, I thought that.

how come that sometimes, when I click a bookmark in ie or when winamp starts playing the next song, my balance, volume settings revert to some weird setting?
Also, sometimes when I muted everything (trough the laptop's fn+nosound keys) the sound is being unmuted...

the laptop uses a WDM Crystal (Cirrius Logic) Audio controller...


what's wrong?
