We make our decision based on those reviews.
But of course it difficult to know if that article
is biased or like you said a gimmick. Going back to article, it made a comparison between 1 stick of 128ram Crucial, 256ram Crucial and 256ram TwinMos. The two Crucials are almost identical in
performance but TwinMos is definitely better.The
article in Lost Circuits did not have the TwinMos
ram so it is hard to know how it compares. But if
a motherboard comes around that is capable of using PC2700 ram then it is still worth the benefit of the doubt because of its extra capability. I think. I appreciate your opposing expert opinions for better understanding of the issue.
