Few weaks ago, replaced ISA SB AWE64 with a PCI SB Live! Value. Much better sound in games, music better.
After the nightmare install of drivers and utilities from creative, I found that creatives player had taken over all functions, and could find no way to get WMP back in charge. (I hate creative's interface)
Finially, tried reinstall WMP7. That worked.
Could this have hosed something?
It's not like I play Audio cds on the machine, but hey, it's broke and I want it fixed.
