as long as rdram is twice or even more expensive than SDR/DDR SDRAM, people keep on buying the cheap and relatively fast stuff. I don't think that 6GB/s would give me much more than 600MB/s while playing a game. It's about 3d performance.. And atm, I've got enough of that.

People that really need memory bandwidth... say, compiling large applications, doing rendering stuff or whatever in that direction can certainly profit from such a technology. If they're willing to pay for it...
