Maybe as they need some kinna boost in 3D...remember ATI had decent 2D still bought out TSeng, Nvidia took care of 3DFX with all there 3D and look what CLabs did to Aureal B4 someone else snatched their ways.
It' all about cornering the market...Appian got buds with ATI after 3DFX was gone...these guys want Puter Manufactures and Customs Businesses as us builders are nothing to them but some droppings in the bucket.
