You can also use one of the newer coppermine p3's. I have an abit BX6 also and all you have to use is a slot to socket adapter(usually called slotket or something like that). Just make sure that your MB's voltage goes low enough (around 1.5V). I have the same thing so I don't think you should have any problems.

If you can get your hands on a cheap celeron 566 or higher, these make for a very cheap upgrade. If you have pc66 ram and don't want to replace it the celerons will do fine since it's supposed to run at 66Mhz bus speed. These processors also overclock very well! With a bit of luck you shouldn't have any problems getting the celeron 566 to run at 850, if your ram can handle it (that's what I did). The celerons aren't the best performers, however, compared to your p2 266, they will seem as monsters!
