i currently have an abit bx 6 motherboard with a p2 266 and obviously want to upgrade. I've been told that the board will support a p3 600 katmai.
bearing in mind I've never changed a cpu before , is it just a case of unplugging the p2 and slotting in the p3 . Does anyone know if most cpu's come with instructions describing what to do or do I need to cough up to get an expert to do it?
