well considering the probe is under the processor I doubt that the fan is just cooling your probe. More than likely your letting the HSF do its job a lil better...you temp dose still sound a bit low, you may wanna buy one of them $12 Radio Shag jobbies and mount it right next to the core under the HS....MOBO probes can decive from time to time
