According to small bit in PC Computing magazine, win98se registry checker stores backup of registry in windows\sysbckup each day as r001.cab. Stores about 5 copies, throws out oldest.
Bit said to reinstall copy, just launch it.
The r001.cab is a folder. Clicking it just opens it. Nothing in it will launch.
I have exported my current registry, no problem.
How do I put back one of these copies?
