Win2k without a ?

Just because ME comes with a few more multimedia programs does not mean it is better then win2k. I know most real 3d multimedia and graphics programs will run on the 9x kernel but they recommend NT. Now that DX will be brought up across the board with Win9x and Win2k I think the difference for gamers becomes less. Also consider ME is the last of its bread and there will be only new OS's based on Win2k. Win2k is as easy to install as ME is. I understand there was a need for Windows 95 back when NT 3.51 was around. Since the easy use of Win2k they should have dropped the 9x kernel. I play all my games in Win2k (UT, AOE2, starcraft) without any problems. I for one would not recommend ME unless the computer does not have the resources for Win2k. The other thing to keep in mind is that win9x is a piece of crap and is very prone to crashing; I would not wish it on my worst enemies.

Blah, blah, blah. Rant, rant, rant. Win2k has my vote.
