That's pretty funny, although it does make sense. Any real newspaper would be copyrighted, and any fake newspaper generated for a show would take a lot of effort to assemble while possibly running the risk of exposing the production company to lawsuits and such over accidental similarities to real people and events.

So, somebody assembled and fully vetted a stock "newspaper" many years ago, and it's been licensed and re-used over and over again.
