The 7600 is a newer generation & should be faster.I could not find the XT brand to look deeper. The 6600 is a junk version of the 6800. Below is a list that should help you, only the XT = (GT = 25) or (GS = 48) on the list ?. The 6600 = 49 or 58. Your 6200 = 75

OK now you will gain some speed, the other things holding you back is a weak 32 bit CPU & the video cards AGP interface.

I had the same problem not long ago & I dumped the AGP, which you can not do. There just is not any clear cut AGP deals out there now.
