From what I see this MoBo does have had raid 0/1 for SATA I & I believe this new drive can use this port, so the raid should work for us ?.
Anyway newegg is out of them already.

Another thing I noticed on the AsRock dual SATA II specs that the serial port is only a header, is this true ?.
In the end my win 98 will get moved to this MoBo when I upgrade the next time & I need com 1 for my PIC programmer.
