CPu would be AMD X2 and speed would depend on if he OC's...cause all else would be revolved around that.
I would also find out if the buddy intends on taking the Rig to Lan Party not only for show but size of Case...He's going to need a minimum of 1Gig of RAM,and untouched Vid cards are Nvidia owned right now but either 2nd to the best would do IMO esp if he SLI's it...MoBo is DFI Lanparty for show...Doc did a review on one that can be SLI modded, with Gigabyte and Epox to follow...not much of a Gamer so other will chime in and I'll see what others have to say around here...
