I sold the ASRock and got the Gigbyte k8n Ultra cause it had feature which the Rock didn't including PCI-e, Firewire800, Dual Lan and dual a RAID chipset plus RAID 5.
On your new rig you could dual boot or use trays and when 98 goes it'll still work...just won't see it all.
b's board has the SATA2, no real difference between 1 n2 but it is AGP/PCI-e capable along with the next socket...ASRock is the underling of ASUS ...amd the ULi is a faster @ IDE but for me that's no biggie cause I use the SATA for my HD along with 3 Opticals which run thru the IDE chain.
