I am trying to install SATA HDD on Gigabyte 8S661FXMP-RZ motherboard.I have uninstalled the IDE drive controllers in the BIOS nad the POST finds the SATA HDD OK. When the CD loads the drivers it cannot find any harddrives! I tried to load with F6 to load a RAID driver but it looks for a Floppy drive with the necessary files. I tried to copy files from the CD onto a Floppy but there are too many to fit so I selected files as best I could guess and got to select the txtsetup.oem but this was followed by an error and could go no further. WWW.gigabytecomputer.com has been no help! |
