Yep I had a surdy ONKY 12" # way so I went to the local Hardware store and bought legs...works wonders 
I advise you to go to the local Boom store and hear the difference between Kevlar/polymeer and other sythetics vs Paper. There's a reason why top notcher stick wit paper...if it's DB's your after have a Gander Cerwin Vega XL line which have paper cones and produce 95+BD's.
Even the Dayton sound better IMO and there's Emenice and Electrovoice to consider ...remember Papers Natural
I have a 18" Cerwin that I won't get rid of and it sits here for reconing aft 2K wts blew it
