Serial numbers usually aren't important (except ocassionally when working with a dual-CPU system). AFAICT the two CPUs are both listed as Mobile Pentium4 parts with a 3.06GHz clock, and therefore should be interchangable.

But, as LED said, you can always call the vendor and get the words from their mouth, if only to be on the safe side.
