I only just learned that virtual drives use an image file format ISO 9660. And for every 2048 user bytes, 304 bytes are used for tracking & error correction. Game companies are very sneaky they break there software, so when the disk is read the error corrections fixes what they broke. I have run across a game legal copy that needed real error correction & it does not install (serial #) & its an upgrade. EA no longer does email, its Metal of Honor Allied Assault & SpearHead.
So I am looking for a program that will chop off all but the user data before error correction & be easy to read & search like norton's diskedit. I could do this with basic only I am not sure if mine can handle FAT 32 & it would take forever too.
Bob
