Ya we got our XP discounted & from bestbutt. I did get the TV working sort of, I got the top of the picture back & changed the sound output so I can use my wireless headphones now. Only when I added a DVD player to the VCR thats hooked up to the TV I could not get the DVD picture thru the VCR. It would be on 5 seconds & dims way down to black for around 20 seconds, sound was fine. I tried everything I could come up with including both inputs, Y jacks & the VCR using the cable line in then out to TV, that left the one TV input for the DVD player. Only the VCR failed every test & the only thing it works right on is playing a tape & input to the TV thru the one RCA input the old speaker type of plugs. I also figured out I have to replace a big splitter 4 outputs & cut some cable off & put a new end on the cable that feeds the dinning room. Its weird but that cable end that feeds the DR has lots of adhesive on it & I am sure it messing up the splitter to. I had buried this cable between the new sub floor & wall
which seems to have squeeded out the gummy like stuff.
So now I need a VCR & a video card.
