Thank you. It is very heartning to see the board has some serious support. The domain will be getting deleted and made available early Februrary.
The way I see it one of three things can happen.
1) I manage to get the cpu-central.com domain when it deletes - the best outcome, because then I'd have the built in traffic from google, and would be more encouraged that its worth spending my efforts improving the board and adding content.
2) The origional owners or cown (not the same people BTW) renews the domain before it deletes - the worst outcome, because that really ties my hands. I'd have to choose between letting them call the shots, or going it alone with clickoncpu.
3) Some one else get the domain, probably one of those cheesey clickthrough/search/domain squatters like the one that got http://www.cpucentral.com last year when I had tried to get it. This at least would leave me free to make whatever improvements and new content I want, and as long as the regulars show their faces I'd be willing to give it a go.
