I put in a 512mb stick of PC4000 corsair along side of a 512mb stick of PC3200 corsair in an Abit KV8 Pro mobo, and at first it worked fine, then the mobo just decides not to recognize one of the sticks. It recognizes either one of the single sticks in either one of the slots, but not both of them together occupying either slot. I have tried raising the voltage on the ram, lower/raise timings, reset defaults, etc.. to no avail. BTW, anyone considering this board, make sure you get Rev 1.1, the 1.0 Rev. I got is a POS!! |
