You get the new SATA HD and hook it up
You pop in the WinXP CD and set the BIOS to Boot CDROM 1st
XP starts up and in about 10 secs it asks if you want to install any addition drivers "press F6"
When you do that it'll ask for you to pop in the floppy with drivers
It'll read and install them so you Kick back and relax
