My specs are as follows:
amd athlon xp 2700,
abit kx7-333 mobo,
1GB 333mhz ram,
radeon 9500 pro (375/600)
2x120 seagate HD 120GB,
SB live,
While my system attains respectable scores in aquamark (34000ish) and 3dmark03 (4200ish), I just can't keep up with the outragous results achieved by the Intel users. Seeing them achieving 6000+ on 3dmark03 and 50000+ aquamarks with 3ghz+ p4 makes my drool with envy. I want to know if p4 rigs are really that much better than my trusty amd, in the sense that the gaps in benchmarks are reflective of the actual gaming smoothness?
