If you really want p4 2.26ghz, I sugest you buy it now and forgoe waiting for price drops. P4 1.8a Ghz is a much better buy w/ overclocked, and as we all know, p4 is keen to high clock rates. In six short months when Clawhammer is released, P4 ought to be up over 3ghz, 2.7ghz p4 will be 250 dollars, and rambus pc1066 will be more available.

Besides, P4 is such a jellybelly performer, there is no point in shelling out that much cash for the out of box performance it gives.
