msn chat rooms...

Hi.... I'm posting this for a friend of mine from our community room. He is having a difficult time getting into the chat room.. I've suggested he do this already.
close all currently open browsers and then
open a new one. Then follow the instructions below:

Click on "tools" on your browser's menu bar and select "internet options".
On the general tab, click on "settings" and make sure that "every visit to page"
is enabled. Click "ok", then "apply".


After doing this, we suggest that you try clearing your cache and deleting your
cookies. Here's how:

Click on Tools in the Menu bar, then click on Internet Options.
On the General Tab, go to “Temporary Internet Files” and click on Delete Files,
then click on Ok.
To close your browser, click on File in the Menu bar, then click on Close.
To remove the cookies, click on Start button in the Taskbar, then click on
Programs and then Windows Explorer, select Windows folder then select Cookies
folder.
Delete cookies that have the url: http://chat.msn.com (URL or Uniform Resource
Locator is the web address that you normally see on our browser's address bar
that starts with http://)

Then try logging into chat again and see if the problem is fixed.

he indicated he did and then now he says:
thanks for what you did for me
but still have the same thing
it now tells me i have a prob
with this file.
c:\windows\temp\msn-489539.fdr.
what should i do with this file ???


any suggestions????? It would be greatly appreciated. thanks for your time and help...
