Well, we got to the store and...

I had decided to get the ECS board since you guys are right - the raid isn't really needed. I allready built another system with the same board and it runs fine, and the price cannot be beat. Anyway, we were going to go with an XP1700 or 1600 but after adding up the total (around $1200 CDN with the tax...) my parents thought that it was too much for the moment and that instead of getting something cheaper (like a duron 800, 128MB ram...) it would be better to save a little and wait. I guess things are always different when the time comes to fork out the cash. And that damn tax (15%) is just horrible! Anyway, thanks for the help!
